1.What is a multimedia CD-ROM title?

A multimedia CD-ROM title is like a more like a elearning software or a dictionary contain all the information of a book. It is very useful as it can easily compile even 8,000 pages or more into a CD Rom without much lagging of the page.

2.What are some application of CD-ROM title design? Eg. Educational. Bring examples, if any.

Some application of CD-ROM title is like for game, personal portfolio and even company’s profolio.

3. What are the differences between website design and CD-ROM title design?

CD-ROM title design allows us to put a lot more information or larger files a website design without much loading time needed compare to a website. File size for website is kind of resticted as people won’t want to visit a site when it take years to load 1 page. However you can access to a website anywhere but firstly you do need a internet access. That is why for educational, CD-ROM is more recommendable for young children and older genration people who have no knowledge in using the internet.

What is a web application?

A web application is a program that runs on the web. A Web application accepts user input, processes the input, and displays the results. Web applications are usually created using technologies such as ASP, XML and databases.

 

Difference between web application and web design.

All web sites are created using web design techniques. Web development is done only used when a site needs to be interactive, and respond to users. Typical activities may be a shopping cart, order tracking, etc.

Who do you think the site is created for?

For those ladies who wants to save money and yet like to buy clothes.

What are the good attributes of the site (in terms
of usability, aesthetic issues, etc)?

Loading page is fast as the site has not much of image to display. All the link is connected. The design is empty but is simple and the site is not complicated. You can easily find the button to click. The colour stick to the theme of the brand color.

•What are the bad attributes of the site?

The layout is kind of dull, and the use of the colour make the sit look boring.

Lack of images to make the site looks more interesting.
